Casa Rosa is a charming apartment in the heart of the Medieval village of Vicopisano, an authentic Tuscan village.  Nestled under the Medieval towers of the historic centre of the village, the property offers Tuscan charm and character with a stylish, eclectic mix of traditional Tuscan interiors and objects which have been lovingly collected from around the world. It offers a spacious location full of charm and a perfect place for  one or two couples and or a small family. 

Casa Rosa is a 120 square metres ground floor apartment with a communal garden and private patio that offers a pleasant and charismatic stay in an original Medieval Tower House. The apartment consists of a large open plan well equipped kitchen-dining room, a cozy living room with a double sofa bed, and 2 double bedrooms – one of  which also has a single bed.  The property has 2 bathrooms. 

Like many Medieval buildings in the village, the main window has decorative wrought iron bars which provide a sense of both historic reference and security. It is just a short stroll away from the village square and all its amenities: restaurants, bars, touristic office, chemist and bank

Description

BEDROOM 1:
The large airy bedroom has a comfortable and large master bed and a single bed ideal for a child/teenager/adult. There is a large wardrobe, dresser, and chest of drawers. The room is equipped with air conditioning. We can add one more single bed in the Master bedroom or in the living area, upon request. 

BEDROOM 2: 
A second Master Bedroom with Tuscan chic interiors. A delightful iron double bed with original Tuscan wooden furniture embellishes the room: an antique walnut wardrobe and a chest of drawers. On request, it is possible to add an extra single bed in the bedroom or in the living.

LIVING AND LOUNGING SPACE
The Living Room, located in a particularly suggestive corner under a ceiling of ancient chestnut beams, offers a comfortable sofa bed with an armchair to enjoy TV or read a book overlooking the Tuscan garden of the property.

BATHROOM
The bathrooms have high quality fixtures embellished with shabby chic interiors: the composition is toilet, bidet, sink and a spacious shower. It is expertly decorated with typical tiles of the area. The sinks are set in old sewing machine tables and the bathrooms are equipped with shower gel and hand soap. Towels are provided.

 

KITCHEN 
The wonderful open-plan kitchen offers a delightful dining space and has elegant eclectic collectibles mixed with traditional Tuscan design. The stone kitchen is typical of the area but with the comfort of modern appliances. The table, in olive wood, is located in the center of the room: a charming white chandelier majestically overlooks the dining area. A romantic alcove, with a table and chairs, is the perfect space to make an exquisite breakfast overlooking the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped to make you feel at home: you will find a stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, kettle, fridge, table cloths and all things necessary to cook and clean / wash There is also a utility room with a clothesline and washing/cleaning stuff and a washing machine.

GARDEN AND OUTSIDE AREAS
Casa Rosa has the advantage of having an outside garden which is shared with other residents and a private patio area directly outside its door. The typical Tuscan garden with its characteristic olive trees is equipped with a wooden table and umbrella available to guests of Brunelleschi’s Apartments. Having an outdoor garden is a real advantage for a typical medieval house-tower in the historic center.

ACCESS AND PARKING
There are free car parking spaces along the street where the property is situated and a resident’s car park is approximately 200 metres away. (Entrance in Via Trombi). There are two entrances to the property: the main entrance is in Via Lante, the main road of the historic centre – you enter through an old doorway into a spacious hallway – from here you may access your private entrance. The other entrance is better if you arrive by  car-and  is in Via Trombi with the free car parking along the street.
