The Master bedroom in the historic past was the residence of the messenger of the manor who was responsible for looking after the messenger pigeons.

The bedroom still retains exposed stone walls dating back over hundreds of years which once formed the walls of Vicopisano’s fortifications.  Today the room has a characteristic four-poster bed (queen-size) and beautiful antique furniture.

The Living Room is extremely suggestive given the high ceiling characterized by chestnut beams and terracotta bricks: the bright window instead overlooks the courtyard of the Manor. The large leather sofa, comfortable to enjoy the TV corner, becomes a king sofa bed if necessary to use the living room as a possible second bedroom: the comfortable size of the sofa bed makes it perfect for resting both adults and children. The living room is embellished with old prints and a centenary cupboard where, for centuries, bread was put to rest and which is a typical element of rustic Tuscan houses.

The bathroom is located under a Medieval arch and has a large shower, toilet, bidet, and sink.  The sink is mounted on an antique sewing machine table.

The rustic Tuscan masonry kitchen consists of a grit sink, a large countertop, and an induction hob: the refrigerator and the dishwasher are located in the wooden built-in kitchen where you will also find pots, microwave, kettle, toaster, and everything you need to prepare a beautiful Tuscan dinner! The beautiful period showcase masters the kitchen which overlooks the surrounding countryside with a picturesque window.

The Medieval resort has a private courtyard garden and pool area.  These areas are shared only with the other residents of the resort of which there are 5 apartments. Each apartment has a dedicated sunlounger, sun umbrellas and a USB/cell phone charging point, and Wifi. There is also a  pretty patio area with tables and chairs for each apartment and a communal kitchen where cooking experiences can be organized.  The grounds outside the resort form a Medieval court where light entertainment such as musical concert nights is planned for the summer. Please contact us for more details of the program

Apartamento Filippo is located on the first floor of the Medieval property by way of a staircase.  Free parking is available at the edge of the historic/pedestrianized area just a short 5 minute walk away.  Parking is available in the streets or in one of two car parks which are approximately a 10-minute walk away.
